Wedding photo edit

I've been playing around with my Photoshop CS6 for the last week (I'm having major creative block in the sewing department). As I was going through Pinterest the other day cleaning up my boards and finding new pins. I had come across a Pin that I had found awhile back on taking your wedding song, a nice wedding photo and adding the lyrics to the photo.
The hubs' cousin is getting married in a few months and I thought it would be a perfect gift idea. So I decided to try it out on a wedding photo of mine.

Tim McGraw: It's Your Love

Did a lot of repositioning and resizing on the wording trying to keep the lyrics in somewhat of an order so it's understandable. I think it still needs some work but I thought it came out pretty good for my first one. I made this one 12x12 for a Scrapbook. Not sure what size to do if I plan to frame it. I think I'm going to do another one but a father daughter one.
Now just needing to find a photo where I'm not balling my eyes out. lol.

Learning Photo editing with Photoshop

For my Birthday last year I got Adobe CS6 (Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium) to use since I do a lot of Digi Scrapbooking and photo editing. I'm still pretty new at it and am trying to learn the ropes so to speak on how to use it. Pinterest has peen great with helping me find tutorials. Found one the other day on how to make eyes pop in photo's. I was happy to find this one since I have cute picture of Bug & Sprout the only thing that would make them even better is if there eyes were brighter. It never fails that I get a great shot but the light is just so that is darkens their eyes.

Like in this photo of lil mizz Sprout:
You'd think that it would be perfect beings it's a close up shot. But nooooo!.
So I began scouring google and pinterest to find tutorials on how to make my photos better. I found two good tutorials one from 416Studios and The Pioneer Woman for Sharpening and Making Eyes Pop.

This was my after photo:
The all around photo is so much better even her hair is much more vibrant. I love how it turned out. I can't wait to do more photos and make them even better. *^_^*
